Discipleship Training Classes are a way for Christians to develop biblical habits (or disciplines) that challenge us to grow closer to Christ and enhance our relationships with other people. The Fall 2011 Semester has a class for everyone.

Courageous Living: Men's Bible Study based

     God is calling us to fight for our faith and our families. He is
     calling us to follow Christ and live a life that is courageous. It's
     time to answer the call. This four week session Bible study
     is designed to challenge you to live courageously for the sake of your family. Session topics include: Courageous Call (Josh 1:1-9) — serving, protecting, and casting a vision for family; Courageous Priorities (Josh 7:19-21; Matt 6:20-21) — focusing on eternal things rather than what is temporary;  Courageous Legacy (Josh 23:1-10; 14-16) — it takes courage to impact future generations; Courageous Faith (Joshua 24:1-13) — increasing in wisdom and strengthening a our identity in Christ...it takes courage to stand with Christ.

   The gospel has been spread throughout the world because of 
   people's willingness to be sent out. Unfortunately, we live in a day when much of the church sees itself as having arrived, rather than being sent. Through examination of the church's call to move outside its walls, Ed Stetzer urges Christ's followers to understand their privilege and responsibility to go into the world and take with them the transforming gospel of Jesus Christ.

   This class is going to be a continuing "Bible in the News"
   format. We will review current news articles from around the world and explore how they relate to the Word of God. Where there is a direct connection to the scriptures we will shift to a topical study to discover the practical application for us and the church for today.
