Pastor's Pointers
WELCOME TO WESTSIDE! I hope that you are ready
for an exciting day of worship. This is the final day of our Team
Impact Crusade and I believe the last day will be the best day.
THIS MORNING one of our Team Impact members will
be preaching God’s Word. These guys have done a great job
of sharing the gospel all weekend and I know they will do the same
this morning.
THIS EVENING the final service will begin at 6:30
p.m. Tonight’s service will include feats of strength, testimonies,
and a message from God’s Word. I am expecting the largest
crowd of the weekend tonight. You don’t want to miss it.
ATTENTION ALL LADIES! The WOW Spring Banquet is
this Thursday at 7:00 p.m. in the Family Life Center. The speaker
is Mrs. Sandra Cornelius and the meal is being catered by Jo Rewis.
The cost is $15 per person. Today
is the last day to purchase your ticket. I believe that every woman
of Westside ought to attend. Tickets are on sale in the Mall.
ATTENTION ALL BASEBALL FANS! Westside is going
to the Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville on Tuesday, June 3rd. to
watch the Jacksonville Suns beat the Mobile BayBears! Tickets go
on sale today in the Mall for $9.50. It will be Family Feast Night
at the ballpark which means hotdogs, peanuts, and ice cream are
50 cents each. Now that’s a deal! The deadline for purchasing
tickets is May 21st.
I WANT TO THANK everyone for faithfully supporting
our Team Impact Crusade. It takes a lot of people to pull off an
event like this and our folks were super. Most of all I thank our
wonderful Savior for touching hearts and changing lives. I can hardly
wait to see what He is going to do tonight and in the days to come.

Set sail for Outrigger Island! It will be a week of non-stop
action as we learn to live God’s unshakable truth! We
will explore five Bible truths ~ God is real ~Jesus is God’s
Son ~ Jesus is the only way ~ The Bible is God’s Word
~ and My actions show what I believe! By the end of the week,
we will have all learned what it means to know, speak and
live the truth.
Join us June 16th through 20th. We will conclude the week

University Classes. We have a dozen compelling classes for
your Spiritual enjoyment! We meet tonight and May 18th at
5:15 PM.
Our final baptism during Team Impact will be tonight! Please
come to the Choir Rehearsal Room no later than 5:30 if you
desire to be baptized tonight.
Wondering about whether Westside is the place where God wants
you to fellowship and serve? Our Second “Deciding my
Church Membership Class” will meet Wednesday Night,
