Singles Ministry
The Singles Department at Westside Baptist Church is on mission to equip single adults in Jacksonville to carry out the work that Jesus Christ began. By providing support to the different groups of single adults, our goal is to reach the lost with the message of Jesus Christ.
SINGLE ADULTS

There are several Single Adult groups to choose from here at Westside
Baptist Church Singles Department. Are you thirty something? If
so, I would like to introduce you to some of the most energetic
people on the planet. Come and meet your new friends this Sunday
Morning at 9:15. How about 40 or 50 something? We've got groups
for you as well. These singles are just like you. They're professionals;
some own their own businesses while some work for others. Their
children are grown, or still at home, and some are proud grandparents.
So regardless of where you are we have a group for you. We also
have a single ladies class. Ladies 30 and older gather to study
God's Word and encourage one another like issues. There's even a
single parents group. So come check us out and get connected to
God and positive people. Thanks.
BIBLE STUDY OPPORTUNITIES
Westside’s Single Adult Ministry offers Bible study classes for all ages and walks of life. Whether you are college and career (ages 17-29) or in your 30’s, 40’s, or beyond, we have a class for you. We even have classes for single parents and never-been-married adults! We’d love to have the opportunity to grow with you and minister to you!
Single Adult Sunday School
Located in the Beige Building, Single Adult Sunday School meets
every Sunday morning at 9:15 am. Come early for continental breakfast
and fellowship.
The Connection
On the first Friday of each month, all of our single adults gather at 7:30 pm in the Bridge building for a time of fellowship, worship, and Bible study. Deaf interpretation is available during the service. Childcare is provided for birth through 5th grade by reservation only.
Additional Monthly Bible Studies and Fellowships
Each Sunday School class in the Singles Ministry coordinates their own monthly activities. These can include Bible studies, activities such as bowling, movie outings or fellowships in someone’s home. Plug into a Sunday School class and get connected.
CLASSES OF INTEREST TO SINGLES
The Westside University has classes to help you grow as 2 Peter 3:18 commands. Whether you are a new Christian or seasoned salt, there is a growth class just for you. Classes meet every Sunday afternoon at 5:15 p.m. In addition, you can find other discipleship opportunities under the Bible Study link.
