TELL PEOPLE ABOUT JESUS
INTRODUCTION
The main purpose of a Visitation T.E.A.M. is to tell people about Jesus.
One of the most difficult tasks of a T.E.A.M. is to get an opportunity to tell someone about Jesus. Here are some suggested questions:
- Have you come to a place in your life that you know for certain you have eternal life and that you will go to heaven when you die? (CWT)
- Suppose you were standing before God right now and He asked you, “Why should I let you into my heaven?” What do you think you would say? (CWT)
- In your personal opinion, what do you understand it takes for a person to go to heaven? (FAITH)
GOSPEL PRESENTATION
There are several effective ways of telling people about Jesus. Here are a few:
- Personal Testimony - A good personal testimony should be given in not more than three minutes, be void of “church” language, create interest and include the following elements:

- How I received Jesus
- How Jesus makes my life different

CONCLUSION
After presenting the gospel it is important to call for a commitment. Here are some suggested questions:
- Does what we have been saying make sense to you? (CWT)
- Is there any good reason why you would not be willing to receive God’s gift of eternal life? (CWT revised)
- Understanding what we have shared, would you like to receive this forgiveness by trusting in Christ as your personal Saviour and Lord?
- Are you willing to turn from your sin and place your faith in Jesus right now? (Eternal Life Tract)
If a person is ready and willing to receive eternal life, here is a suggested prayer:
A prayer to receive eternal life:
“Dear Lord Jesus, (repeat)
I know I am a sinner, (repeat)
I know You are God’s Son, (repeat)
I believe You died and rose again, (repeat)
I turn from sin, (repeat)
I ask You to come into my life, (repeat)
Please forgive me of my sin, (repeat)
And be my Saviour.” (repeat)
A prayer of thanksgiving:
“Thank you, Lord Jesus, (repeat)
For saving my soul, (repeat)
Help me every day, (repeat)
To live for you.” (repeat)
Telling people about Jesus is the first purpose of T.E.A.M. visitation.
